The most important factors for any press are that
it needs to be able to hold its heat and provide an even pressure. If your unit doesn’t hold its temperature properly or provide even pressure, it will affect the outcome of your final product.
In DTG, a heat press removes moisture from the garments prior to printing and cures the inks into the fibres once printing is complete. In heat transfer, it also removes any moisture from the garment as well as activates the bonding agent that allows the media to adhere to the fabric.

Touch screen control
Easily set the temperature and time required using the touch screen controls. The readout shows the countdown, beeps once the set time has elapsed and resets once the handle is raised so that it’s ready for your next garment.
Pressure control
Depending on the model, you’ll be able to either adjust the pressure exerted by the press using the black pressure dial (the pressure is displayed on the screen) or by using the adjustment mounted to the back of the platen mount.

Teflon blanket (cap press)
This speciality press incorporates a teflon blanket, which is suspended between the upper and lower platens. It holds the transfer or lettering in place before the heating element locks down, ensuring that it doesn’t shift or move.
