Dye Sublimation Paper & Blanks

No dye sublimation setup would be complete without the right paper and blanks - after all, they are what forms the actual products that you are creating for your customers. Fortunately, we have a wide range of paper and blanks to choose from.

There are a few factors to consider when choosing the right dye sub paper - ink capacity and limits (as the higher the ink limit, the heavier the paper should be), ink pattern, roll-to-roll or roll-to-sheet, and print speed are just a few.

There are also a few factors to consider when choosing the right dye sub blanks, as you must ensure that they have been properly treated for this purpose. You can’t just go to Kmart and buy the cheapest blank mugs you can find.

If you’re looking for a blank that you cannot find listed here or on our online shop, please get in touch with us - we will do our best to source what you’re looking for, or a suitable alternative, through our dedicated supplier chain.

"Prompt and great customer service experience! Paul and the guys have been helpful with giving us a detailed comparison with the different options available on the website. We recommend them to any printer or garment decoration business."

What we love about Dye Sub Blanks & Paper

Wide range of papers

Your choice of paper will ultimately depend on the dye sub printer you own and the type of products you are trying to create. We have a range of high quality papers to choose from, including Epson, Siser and Sihl.

Roll or sheet

Our paper is available in two options depending on the size of your printer - either as a roll (loaded onto the printer and allows you to print long images) or as sheets (individually loaded into the printer and the size is restricted).

Designed to resist cockling

The papers that we supply have been designed to resist cockling, which is a curling effect that can occur inside your printer (thereby affecting the printing process) when there is too much moisture in the paper.

Wide range of blanks

We have access to a wide range of blanks that have been specially treated for dye sublimation, including: mugs, drink bottles, stubby holders, mouse pads, ornaments, keyrings, magnets, plates and various textiles.

White & coloured substrates

When it comes to sublimation, accurate colour recreation is best achieved when using a bright white substrate. Coloured substrates are available; keep in mind that sublimation is slightly transparent, so this will affect your colours.

Dishwasher & food safe

If you’re creating products that people will eat or drink from (such as mugs and plates), it’s important that the blanks you have selected are both dishwasher and food safe; the last thing you want to deal with is complaints.
