Epson DG Cotton Pretreatment is designed to work with fabrics that have a high cotton fibre content (garments with 50% cotton or more). If you are working with fabric that contains 50% polyester or more, we recommend Epson DG Polyester Pretreatment instead.
So, what’s different about the V2 (version 2) formula? In short, it addresses two key issues that users raised with the original V1 formula - it
aims to reduce staining as a result of over application and
reduce yellowing on printed images over time (the UV effect).
Pretreatment can be applied manually through the use of a spray gun or roller, otherwise you can use an electronic system (such as the Cube). For best results, Epson recommends using a spray-based machine.
Although this pretreat has been designed specifically for use with Epson DG UltraChrome inks, it has also been tested and used successfully with DTGTex Dupont Artistry inks. No matter the ink set you are using,
we recommend testing prior to running any production.
